Trip to the Phoenix Zoo
November 5th, 2010

Now, with our cool fall weather arriving it's time to pull out our zoo membership and go see the animals!  That's what Mama and the girlies did this morning :)  We got to see lots of animals, especially the Koalas that are brand new to our zoo.  The Koalas are too cute :)  Then, we took a Kettle Corn snack break (homemade from Mama, as a treat for the girlies) and afterward checked out the farm animals.  Us 5 girls had a good morning!  Here are some pics of our trip!

Zebras.
Our church's nursery walls are decorated with life-size animals like Zebras and Giraffes.
The girlies ALWAYS say "hi!" to the Zebra down the hall from their church nursery room :)
So they KNOW Zebras ;)

Flamingos.  No pink?  I showed Jared the picture here and he said "it must be because it's winter and their feathers lose the pink color in the winter."  Smart thinking Jared, trying to think of a good reason why no pink ;)

Cheetah, or "kitty cat!" as the girlies called him/her ;)

Suzan, taking a "stroller" break.  We used our big quad stroller at the zoo.  Needless to say, we got ANY and EVERY person stopping us, either about the stroller, if the girls were different ages or the same or if they were 2 sets of twins or quadruplets.  Ha!

Brielle, shades and all, watching the "kitty cat"

Suzan watching the 4 African Wild Dogs pace around their pen.  Turns out the 4 Dogs are quadruplets too (a zoo keeper told us that, as he stopped me asking if the girlies were quadruplets, as he is a triplet).  How funny!

Mhorr's Gazelle

Baboon

Awe!  The baby Koala, 2.5yo just like the girlies :)

Mama.  She must be taking a rest break from Koala kid care.  I TOTALLY understand Mama Koala ;)
