Our Trip to Flagstaff, AZ

March 12th, 2011 - March 15th, 2011

We took another trip to Flagstaff with our family + Grammy.  This was our Spring Break trip.  It was fun to get away.  We did get to see some snow, albeit little 3ft patches of it here and there.  But hey, the kids were happy with it, what with making (and throwing) snowballs and miniature snowmen :)  We always love where we stay, just for the fact that it can sleep 8, has awesome views, an outdoor patio/stairs and a fireplace (gotta make S'mores while on vaca in the pines!)  We took a few drives out and about, one to walk around Sunset Crater and the other to a nearby park.  Jared and Paul also got in some Wii or Playstation video game action at the resort's activity center ;)  No, the swimming pools weren't open yet.  Too cold, I guess :P

The girlies, all snug in their bed.  Sleep?  Yeah right!  Ha! ;)

Mountain views from our unit...ahhhhh!

We took a drive to Sunset Crater.  On the way, lots of views of snow top mountains

Walking around Sunset Crater.  There is a very easy, short and paved walking path around the volcano.  Yes, I said volcano

Grammy disobeyed the signs and went off the path, just to grab snow for the grandkids - Ha! ;)

Brielle and her snowball.  This is the first time any of our kids have seen, touched or played in snow.  Wow!

Jared.  He kept saying "it's cold!  let's get out of here!" ;)

And yet more snow fun at another patch on the timeshare's grounds.  They had fun!
