Memorial Day 2010

We took a family trip, the 7 of us and Grammy Guzman, up north to Flagstaff, AZ for Memorial Day weekend.  This is our 3rd road trip with the girlies!  Wow!  Our 2nd trip with them to Flagstaff.  Everyone did WONDERFUL!  It was nice to get away from the Valley's heat and be up north where it's cool and surrounded by big Ponderosa Pines.  Ahhhh!

We stayed in our timeshare, which is awesome in that it sleeps 8 (3 bedrooms + foldaway sofa bed), has a full kitchen and indoor laundry area and a wonderful patio to sit outside and enjoy the Pines!  Oh, and a Jacuzzi too :D

The unit has a fireplace so we took advantage of it by roasting marshmallows and making S'mores.  YUM!
Paul and Jared roasting some marshmallows.

Ooooo!

That's yummy goodness right there!!!! :D

I think Jared enjoyed the roasting marshmallows and S'mores out of everything in the trip ;)

The next day we spent some time at a nearby park...Brielle playing

Sliding time!...Suzan

Suzan and Anna

Suzan, Brielle and Bethany

Ride 'em Suz! ;)

We also had some nice roaming space behind our unit.  Our back yard, if you want to call it that ;)

Suzan - "ooooo mama!  look what i found!"

Brielle looking for a pinecone of her own

Anna exploring

Bethany found a stick to play with ;)

Jared being the silly boy he is :P

The next day we ventured up to the Snowbowl Ski Resort.  It's fun to just walk around on the ski hills.  They do run their ski lift in the summer, which would've been fun but with no seat belts I don't think it would work with 4 2-year-olds to just sit still ;)

Crazy enough, there still was some snow on the ground!  Grammy and the girlies digging around

Trying to get enough snow to play with and make snowballs

Paul and Jared ventured up higher on the ski hill

A close-up of Jared throwing a snowball

Grammy and Mama were crazy throwing snowballs around - Ha!  And yes, Bethany is chewing on a stick in the background.  Crazy girly! ;)

Paul helped Jared build a snowman

They are getting there!

Baby Ponderosa Pines growing.  So cute!
